Are you ready for the COMPASS adventure? Do you want to take college life in a new direction, one dictated by the true, lasting values espoused by Christ and his Church? If so, it's as easy as 1,2,3:
Put together your Leadership Team. You can't do it alone - not even Christ himself did it alone. To become a Stage-1 COMPASS Chapter, you need at least 3 Leadership Team members: a president, a vice president, and a treasurer. Each one of you should see the need for more efforts to evangelize college life, desire to do what it takes to meet that need, and have the leadership potential, character, and determination to start something big from scratch.
Request membership and a Stage-1 Chapter Charter.
First of all, each of you should read over the commitments that a COMPASS member takes on. They can be found on the last page of the sample Cornerstone Meeting, here. Then each member of your leadership team can fill out the membership form.
When an actual induction ceremony is scheduled to take place near your school, we will let you know so that you can solidify your commitment by participating in it.
Together, you can fill out the Request for a Stage-1 Charter (COMPASS chapters grow to maturity through three stages).
As part of the request, you will also need to submit your Chapter Plan.

When your forms are ready, send them to us by postal mail, fax, or email.
When we receive them, we will send your Commitment Card and a regional manager will contact you.
Begin your weekly meetings. The heart of a COMPASS chapter is a weekly meeting. At first each of these meetings takes the form of the COMPASS Points Encounter; once everyone in your core group has been inducted into COMPASS, you can mix in the Cornerstone Meetings every other week. As soon as we receive your membership request, we will send you your passcode so you can download the weekly COMPASS Points Bulletin.
